Augers and auger tips are consumable parts and are not covered under warranty. Please note, the tiller model used in this assembly guide may vary slightly from your unit.

Attach handle frame (Fig. 6b) with screws and tri wing nuts. Ensure that the concaved head is on the inside (Fig. 6c) and the tri wing nuts are on the outside (Fig.

Ensure that it is not too tight. If it is too tight, this may result in the throttle cable getting caught and will affect the operation of the engine.

    6 Blade Tiller/Cultivator - BT-689 Quick Start Guide Step 1: Ensure enough petrol/oil mixture is in the tank. Step 6: Turn choke to “RUN.” Always use 25:1 ratio (This equates to 40mL of 2 stroke oil to 1L of petrol).

    6 Blade Tiller/Cultivator - BT-689 Maintenance Air Filter Every eight hours, remove the cover and the filter. The filter should be washed and dried before refitting it. Remove cover to get access to the air filter: PLEASE NOTE: The air filter needs to be oiled prior to use in order to trap dust and dirt before it reaches the motor.
