Installation with an upper anchorage strap
Secure the child restraint

system using the seat belt,
and move the head restraint
in place at the upmost posi-
tion. (→P. 114)
Latch the attaching clip and

tighten the upper anchorage
strap.
Make sure the upper anchorage
strap is securely latched.

the downmost position.

When installing a child restraint system in the front passenger's seat or
center rear seat
You need a locking clip to install the child restraint system. Follow the instruc-
tions provided by the manufacturer of the system. If your child restraint sys-
tem does not provide a locking clip, you can purchase the following item from
your Toyota dealer.
