The production line used in this sample, consists of a feeder and a conveyor belt which are controlled together. The AS-Orbit is mounted onto the conveyor belt. In this sample application we set the menu for the application shown in Figure 94.

Position the feeder • Please assure that the products of the feeder are fed at the same height level as the AS-Orbit conveyor belt. Adjust the height of the feeder if necessary. • The products have to be placed on the conveyor belt in a straight-lined and parallel stream.
12.4 How to adjust the Quadient FD-13/FD-15 Feeder to the medium This instruction is just a short excerpt of the Quadient Feeder user manual. Top of Form Sensor The Top of Form sensor (or paper sensor) detects the front and (TOF) rear edges of each material. A correct detection is necessary to position the printed image and to stop the printer in case of a jam.
