Sound

Vehicle features and
options
This chapter describes all standard, country-spe‐
cific and optional features offered with the series.
It also describes features and functions that are
not necessarily available in your vehicle, e.g., due
to the selected options or country versions. This
also applies to safety-related functions and sys‐
tems. When using these functions and systems,
the applicable laws and regulations must be ob‐
served.
Treble, bass, balance, and
fader
1. "CAR"

5. Select the desired setting.
6. To adjust: turn the Controller.
7. To store: press the Controller.
Harman Kardon Surround
Sound system
When surround sound is activated, multi-channel
playback is simulated when a audio source is
played back in stereo mode.
The surround sound can be adjusted with the
"Surround intensity" function.

Equalizer

Settings for individual frequency ranges.

Bass and treble settings also affect the sound
settings of the equalizer and can be configured in
the same way as the frequency ranges.
Select and adjust treble, bass, or a frequency
range.
1. Turn the Controller to mark a frequency
range.
2. Press the Controller.
3. Turn the Controller to raise or lower the se‐
lected frequency range.
4. Press the Controller to store the setting.

you can choose between different sound pro‐
files.
