Battery drains too fast.
1. Where few antenna bars are displayed (radio shadow areas), the phone is considered
far from the network. To send/receive the phone's position info, more power is
needed, which makes the battery drain faster.
2. When LCD Back Light is on, battery drains faster. For example, when LCD Back Light
is 100mA/h, a 1500-mA battery allows the LCD to be left ON for 15 hr. Longer Screen
Time-out settings will cause faster battery drain. Shorter screen time-out setting is
better.
3. When you press the Home key to end an app, the app invisibly keeps running in the
background, which makes the battery drain faster. You are advised to end apps or

programs using the Delete/Backward key.
4. Rooting will give the Super User authority over Android's system domain, and may
change data in the battery domain, which causes the battery to drain faster.
5. Dodolphone, NateOn, Kakao Talk, Stock/Weather widgets and other apps calling for
periodic data updates will cause the battery to drain faster, when their update cycle is
short.
6. To install many apps at one time, reboot it. Many widget apps installed onthe
wallpaper may cause faster battery drain.
7. You can reduce battery drain by off-setting unused add-on devices (BT/Wifi/GPS).
