- Page 3 Installing the accessory and the 153C Contactor lace the accessory along any straight section of track on your layout. Be sure that all of your trains clear the accessory. If you choose to trigger the accessory using the 153C Contactor, install the Contactor approximately 14 inches from the accessory in the direction of the train’s approach.

- Page 5 Installing the lamppost s illustrated in Figure 3, plug the two prongs on the bottom of the lamppost into the socket on the platform. Be sure that the prongs line up with the holes. The lamppost may be installed in either direction. Platform socket Figure 3.
- Page 6 Wiring the accessory with the 153IR Controller ou may choose to connect this accessory with a 153IR Controller (available separately, 6-14111) and a 12-volt DC Relay (SPDT, 1A Contact rating) with a Diode (IN4001, IN4002, IN4003, or IN4004) available from your electronics supply store. The trains trigger the 153IR Controller by reflecting an infrared beam, so it is not necessary to install a pressure- sensitive Contactor under the track.

- Page 8 Replacing the interior lamp he interior of your accessory is illuminated by one lamp, Lionel part no. 610-4143-300. During the course of normal operations, this lamp may require replacement. Replacement lamps are available at your authorized Lionel Service Center or from Lionel Service in Chesterfield, MI.
