Risk of injury.
Installation, maintenance and repair
work by unqualified persons can
cause considerable danger to users,
for which Miele is not responsible.
Miele cannot be held liable for
damage or injury caused by
improper installation, maintenance or
repair work or by inadequate or
faulty grounding in the building's
wiring system (e.g. electric shock).
The cooktop may only be connected
to the oven by a qualified and
competent electrician in accordance
with current local and national safety
regulations.
Make sure that all electrical
components are shielded and cannot
be accessed by users after
installation.

Connection
The voltage, rated load and fuse rating
can be found on the oven data plate.
Please ensure that these match the
building's electrical supply.
Ground fault circuit interrupter
For added safety, it is advisable to
protect the appliance with a suitable
ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI)
with a trip current of 30 mA.
Disconnecting devices
It must be possible to disconnect the
appliance from the power supply on all
poles using disconnecting devices.
When switched off, a contact distance
of at least 3 mm must be present.
Disconnecting devices include
overcurrent protection elements and
protective circuit breakers.
