4.3 Mounting
The basic models are the product in its simplest form and are
available in the following options:
Open low
Open high
The basic models can be combined with the following additional
modules according to personal choice:
Low open upper part
High side bench
Low side bench
For installation of selected model, refer to the installation sequence
in fig. 2.
NB: It is extremely important that the bottom plate is steady and
level, so that the whole product stands completely level.
Use the acrylic adhesive supplied to attach the parts together.
The low base consists of the following parts:
Part 1:
Bottom plate/shelf plate qty. 1
Part 3:
Bearing element
Part 4:
Side and rear panels
Part 5:
Ventilation element
Part 6: Grate
Part 7:
Sides
Part 11: Flat smoke bell
The high base consists of the
following parts:

Basic model installation
The product is heavy – make sure it does not topple over while
you are installing it!
Ensure you have help when positioning and installing it.
In order to install the burnchamber, see installation
instructions with technical data.
See fig. 2 to install the surrounds.
1. The bottom plate/shelf plate (part 1) should be placed on the
floor surface. Check it is level using a spirit level and adjust as
necessary using adhesive or mortar. It is extremely important
that the bottom plate/shelf plate be steady and level.
2. Position the sides (part 7 - open, low)(part 2 - open, high) on
the bottom plate/shelf plate.
3. Place the bearing element (part 3).
4. Lay the burn chamber carefully down on its back. You can put the
cardboard packaging on the floor to protect it from scratches, etc.
5. Attach the heat shield to the underside of the burn chamber
using the accompanying screws and sleeves.
6. Attach the legs, that accompany the surround, to the burn
chamber using the accompanying screws . See fig. 5.
7. Stand the burn chamber up carefully.
8. Position the leg support on the bearing element.
9. Position the burn chamber with the legs on the leg support.

10. Centre the burn chamber in relation to the bearing element
so that there is an equal distance on both sides.
11. Refit the burn plates that were removed for easier handling
of the burn chamber.
12. Mount the small smoke bell onto the burn chamber using the
accompanying screws. Let the broader side of the smoke bell
turn towards the front (fig. 6).
13. Attach the sides (part 4) so that they are flush with the
surround, and then check that the burn chamber is centred.
14. Then position the ventilation element (part 5). Position the
grate over the opening.
15. Fit the flue pipe in accordance with the instructions.
The low upper part consists of the following parts:
Part 5:
Ventilation element
Part 6: Grate
Part 7:
Sides
1. Position the sides (parts 7) over the Basic module. Check they
are level using a spirit level and adjust as necessary using
adhesive or mortar.
2. The ventilation element (part 5) should then be placed on
top of the sides.
3. The grate (part 6) should be positioned in the air opening on the
ventilation element.
The low bench consists of the following parts:
Part 1:
Bottom plate/shelf plate qty. 2
Part 7:
Sides, (low)
1. The bottom plate/shelf plate (part 1) should be placed on the
floor surface. Check it is level using a spirit level and adjust as
necessary using adhesive or mortar. It is extremely important
that the bottom plate/shelf plate be steady and level.
2. Position the sides (parts 7) on the bottom plate/shelf plate.
3. Position the bottom plate/shelf plate on top.
The high bench consists of the following parts:
Part 1:

Part 2:
Sides
