1. Click Add User.
2. Enter an employee's first
/ middle / last name, ID
number, Noise Exposure
Level, Department, and

fields are indicated with
an asterisk (*).
After a Department or

Instead of entering user names individually, you can also
upload a batch file of users. Click on Upload Users and follow
the instructions to prepare a tab-delimited text file, with data in
appropriate columns. Once the file is prepared, click on Upload
File.
3. Enter the employee's noise exposure level, if known. This
exposure level should be the 8-hour Time-Weighted Average
exposure level, and may be entered as dBA (most common) or
dBC. This entry must be between 70 - 170 dB.

2.3 Set-Up and Preferences

Preferences
This function allows the administrator to select various testing options.
1. Select your preferred language.
2. Select the rating method used in your region (NRR for North
America, SNR for Europe, SLC
3. Select your Safe Noise Criterion. This is the level you would like to
define as a safe noise exposure. We recommend 80 dB as the Safe
Noise Criterion; however, some companies and regulatory
agencies use other levels between 80-85. Your selection of Safe
Noise Crtierion does not affect the VeriPRO test itself, but does
affect the calculation of Safe Exposure Level in the results.
The other settings in the Preferences screen allow the administrator
to adjust the parameters of the VeriPRO test, including audio output
levels and timing. (continued on next page)
for Australia).
