Adjusting the water hardness
Do not allow more than 1 minute to elapse
between the following steps, otherwise the
setting process will be interrupted.
1. Switch on the dishwasher using the
(18) button.

2. Press and hold the P button (13) for as long
as required until the current water hardness
is shown on the display: H1 to H6.
3. Press the P button (13) for 5 seconds
within 60 seconds of switching on.
4. Press the P button (13) as often as re-
quired until the desired setting is displayed.
5. Around 5 seconds after you push it for the
last time, the dishwasher will automatical-
ly revert to the normal display.
The hardness level setting is saved.

Test run

It is recommended that you carry out a test
run before the first dishwasher cycle in order
to remove residues from the manufacturing
process and in order to ensure that the appli-
ance functions perfectly.
If no water escapes during the test run and if
there are no unusual noises, the appliance is
ready to use.
Carry out this test run when the dishwasher is
empty and without any dishwasher detergent.
