MOWER TROUBLESHOOTING

Symptom (if)
Blades do not rotate.
Mower belt slipping.
Discharge deflector plugged.
Streaking of grass uncut.
Uneven cut.
Blades scalping grass.
Excessive vibration.

Cause
• The PTO system is not normal:
PTO system malfunctioning.
• The PTO system is normal:
broken mower belt.
• Weaken tension spring.
• Worn mower belt.
• Mower plugged.
• Debris in pulleys.
• Grass too wet.
• Grass too long.
• Cutting too low.
• Engine rpm too low.
• Ground speed too fast.
• Ground speed too fast.
• Engine rpm too low.
• Grass too long.
• Blades dull or damaged.
• Debris in mower deck.
• Mower deck not level.
• Ground speed too fast.
• Blades dull.
• Blades worn or damaged.
• Low tire inflation.
• Anti-scalp rollers not adjusted correctly.
• Wheels pressure not adjusted correctly.
• Cutting height too low.
• Turning speed too fast.
• Ridges in terrain.
• Rough or uneven terrain.
• Anti-scalp rollers not adjusted correctly.
• Bent blade(s).
• Debris on mower deck or in pulleys.

Remedy
• Consult your local KUBOTA Dealer.
• Replace.
