OPERATION

Always turn off the air supply, drain
hose of air pressure and detach tool
from air supply before installing,
removing or adjusting any part or
accessory on this tool, or before per-
forming any maintenance on this tool.
The thread size of the shaft (or adapter)
must match the size of the eraser wheel
holder.
After mounting a new eraser wheel, start
the tool under bench and run for a few
seconds. If the tool starts to vibrate when
first fitting a new eraser wheel or during
operation, immediately remove from ser-
vice. If tool is dropped, inspect wheel for
any damage and if so, replace the eraser
wheel.
When using the tool, be careful not to
exert excessive force which could be
hazardous and cause the shaft (or adapt-
er) to bend or break. The burning if the
work piece or excessive speed reduction
indicates too much force being applied

Important: DO NOT RETURN DEFECTIVE PRODUCT OUTSIDE OF ORIGINAL ONE (1) YEAR WARRANTY PERIOD TO
PLACE OF PURCHASE.

replacement. This warranty does not apply to products which have been subjected to abuse, misuse, modification, neglect, lack of
maintenance, use in a production-related service, or repaired by anyone other than an Authorized Carlyle Air Tool Service Center.

NOTE: During operation, safety gog-
gles should always be worn to guard
against flying debris (users and
bystanders).
Eraser wheels can be mounted providing
their speed rating exceeds the rating of
the tool.
Correct eraser wheel mounting is neces-
sary to prevent injury. Grip output shaft
(or adapter) using supplied wrench and
tighten eraser wheel to prevent spin off
when the tool is turned off.
DO NOT use damaged or excessively
worn eraser wheels. Using damaged or
excessively worn eraser wheels will result
in (Holder Washer - Ref #40) to make
contact with work surface resulting in
damage to work or paint.
ALWAYS replace excessively worn eraser
wheels with "recommended" eraser
wheels.
Use accessories rated at 2,600
RPM or higher.
This Carlyle Air Tool is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of One (1) Year
Never use grinding wheels, wire
brushes, cut-off wheels or drill bits
on this tool.
