    SmartZone Gateway EP042 User Manual Introduction Overview The SmartZone Gateway EP042 is a compact device used to monitor up to two PDUs within a rack enclosure, along with four input sensors (Temperature, Humidity, and Digital or Analog voltage). The unit comprises an Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) interface and a secure web-based interface for monitoring and management.

Circuit Overloading - Consult the equipment nameplate ratings when connecting the equipment to the supply circuit to avoid overloading of circuits, which can adversely affect current protection and supply wiring.

Advanced users may wish to make use of these settings to access the Gate- way unit's Web Management Interface immediately and proceed with configuration. Users who do not know how to do this should proceed through this section for inform- ation on how to configure the Gateway unit.

System Name You can specify the system name here. This is normally the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) of the device, but this is not enforced.
