Starting the Engine

1. Check the engine oil level. Refer to Checking the
Engine Oil Level in Maintenance.
2. Turn the fuel shutoff valve 1/4 turn counterclockwise
to open it (Figure 20).
3. Insert the ignition key all the way in
(Figure 19).
