12. Tighten the EZ Tight™ LATCH
Push down firmly on the car seat in the
locations shown and release. Do this until the
retractor no longer clicks (about 3-5 times)
Some vehicle seats will need more pressure
to tighten the EZ Tight™ LATCH than others.
13. Tighten Top Tether Strap
Remove all the slack.
14. Test For Tightness
Grab the sides of the seat where the LATCH
strap is and slide the car seat side-to-side
and front-to-back.
If the seat moves less than 1" (2.5 cm), it is
tight enough.
