Action
Install the correct device drivers. Depending on the
operating system and the computer, the order of
loading the device drivers may be restricted. Refer to
the manual of each device driver.
Press the eject button after the busy indicator goes
off.
Depending on the environment in which the Built-in
DVD-RAM drive is used, pressing the eject button
cannot have the disk ejected. Refer to the relevant
manual to eject the disk in the way following the
procedure. (The disk may not be ejected due to the
occurrence of an error in the computer. If so, turn off
the power of the computer and then eject the disk
according to the manual eject procedure.)
It is impossible to use a disk into which data is written
by another device or that of the format type
unsuitable to the environment in which the Built-in
DVD-RAM drive is used. Use any of the disks fit to
the specifications and environments of the Built-in
DVD-RAM drive and the computer.
The disk, the Built-in DVD-RAM drive, and/or the
computer may be condensed due to a rapid
temperature change. If a rapid temperature change
occurs, wait for an hour or longer before using the
system.
Clean the disk.
Release the write protect of the disk.
Format the disk in the form suitable to the
environments of the Built-in DVD-RAM drive and the
computer. (If the data saved in the disk is required,
use another disk.)
At the operating environmental temperature of 5°C or
less, the Built-in DVD-RAM drive may be able to read
data from the disk but unable to write data to the
disk. Use the Built-in DVD-RAM drive after increasing
the operating environmental temperature to 10°C or
higher.
The rapid temperature change may cause the disk,
the Built-in DVD-RAM drive, and/or the computer to
be condensed. If a sudden temperature change
occurs, wait for an hour or longer before using the
system.
Clean the read/write head and the disk. If the writing
operation is disabled still, contact you service
representative.
It took longer time for physical formatting than for
logical formatting. Wait for a while.
Clean the disk.
