Expanded PRO2 System Tree C2Net-Device Slot in Configuration Manager To incorporate a CT-1550 into the system, drag the CT-1550 from the Touchpanels | Touchpanels (Cresnet) folder of the Device Library and drop it in System Views. The PRO2 system tree displays the touchpanel in Slot 9, with a default Net ID of 03, as shown in the illustration after the following note.

Setting the Net ID in Device Settings Double-click the CT-1550 icon to open the “Device Settings” window. This window displays the CT-1550 device information. If necessary, select the Net ID tab to change the touchpanel Net ID, as shown in the following figure.

CT-1550 Input/Output Signals The CT-1550 symbol provides up to 999 digital and 255 analog input and output joins, and up to 127 serial input joins. The programmer selects the signal types by clicking on the appropriate button at the top of the Symbol Detail view when programming the panel.

Reserved Join Numbers A reserved join number is a feature of the software that enables a designer to create a button on a touchpanel page that completes a predetermined function.
Other models, even from the same manufacturer, may not yield the same results. Connection to the CT-1550 touchpanel is via a 6-pin RJ-11 connector in the base of the unit. Therefore, uploading or upgrading must be accomplished through a control system.
