    PREREQUISITE INFORMATION 1.1. FIELD OF APPLICATION The Oximo WireFree™ battery is an extended voltage range battery used for storing the electrical energy supplied by the Somfy solar panel and for powering the Oximo 40 WF RTS low-consumption motor. The Oximo WireFree™ battery is also referred to as “the battery” in this guide.

    Never drop, knock, drill or submerge the battery.  Do not dispose of the battery by burning.     The cables and connectors must be protected from the roller shutter movement. Somfy recommends placing the connectors between the end piece and the flange, and fixing the cables inside the roller shutter housing Wire the 2-pin battery connector (A) to the 2-pin Y-shaped cable connector (B).

    3. USE AND MAINTENANCE 3.1. CHARGING THE BATTERY After installing and commissioning the Oximo 40 DC RTS kit (Oximo 40 WF RTS motor, Somfy battery, Somfy solar panel), the battery charges with electrical energy via the solar panel. The electrical energy transmitted by the solar panel is stored by the battery to supply the Oximo 40 WF RTS motor.

    3.4.2. Recharging and replacing the battery To recharge or replace the Oximo WireFree™ battery, contact a motorisation and home automation professional. Please separate storage cells and batteries from other types of waste and recycle them via your local collection facility.

    I cavi e i connettori devono essere protetti dall'avvolgimento della tapparella. Somfy raccomanda di sistemare i connettori tra la parete e la flangia e di fissare i cavi all'interno del cassonetto della tapparella. Cablare il connettore a 2 poli della batteria (A) al connettore a 2 poli del cavo a Y (B).

    Los cables y los conectores deben quedar protegidos del enrollado de la persiana. Somfy recomienda situar los conectores entre el elemento de cierre y el disco y fijar los cables en el interior de la caja de la persiana enrollable.

    3.1. CARGA DE LA BATERÍA Después de la instalación y de la puesta en marcha del kit Oximo 40 DC RTS (motor Oximo 40 WF RTS, batería Somfy, panel solar Somfy), la batería se carga con energía eléctrica gracias al panel solar.

Carga y sustitución de la batería Para cargar y sustituir la Oximo WireFree™ Battery, póngase en contacto con un instalador profesional de la motorización y de la automa- tización de la vivienda. Recuerde separar las baterías y las pilas del resto de desechos y reciclarlas a través del centro de recogida de residuos de su localidad.

    Os cabos e os conectores devem ser protegidos do enrolamento do estore. A Somfy recomenda colocar os conectores entre a parede e a flange e fixar os cabos dentro da caixa do estore Ligue o conector de 2 pinos da bateria (A) ao conector de 2 pinos do cabo em Y (B).

    2.2. OKABLOWANIE Przewody i złącza muszą być zabezpieczone przed nawinięciem na wałek lub pancerz rolety. Somfy zaleca umieszczanie złączy w boku kasety oraz zamocowanie przewodów wewnątrz kasety rolety Połączyć przewodem złącze 2-wtykowe akumulatora (A) ze złączem 2-wtyko- wym przewodu w kształcie Y (B).

ŁADOWANIE AKUMULATORA Po zamontowaniu i uruchomieniu zestawu Oximo 40 DC RTS (napęd 40 WF RTS, akumulator Somfy, panel słoneczny Somfy), akumulator ładuje się energią elektryczną z panelu słonecznego. Energia elektryczna przesłana przez panel słoneczny jest magazynowana przez akumulator do zasilania napędu Oximo 40 WF RTS.
