- Page 2 Apply pressure to compress the gasket and turn the base until the tabs secure the base in place. Align the canister assembly with the base. Insert the rod on the bottom of the canister assembly into the base, and turn the rod 1/4 turn. Connect the trip lever chain. 1142465-9-A Kohler Co.
