STEP 1
UNPACK THE FILTER
• Carefully unpack the fi lter
and components.
STEP 2
INSTALL MULTI-HOSE FITTING
• Insert the multi-hose fi tting with the rubber gasket into
the back of the fi lter and secure it from the inside with the
threaded collar. Make sure that the gasket is installed on
the outside of the fi lter to ensure a watertight seal.
STEP 3
INSTALL FILTER RACK
• Set the fi lter rack in the fi lter to provide a sturdy base for
the fi ltration media.

STEP 4
INSTALL FILTER MAT
• Set the fi lter mat on top of the fi lter rack.
STEP 5
FILL FILTER MEDIA NET
• A biological fi lter media net is included to hold biological
fi lter media (not included) which will help keep pond water
clean and healthy. Fill the fi lter media net with biological
fi lter media.

INSTALL BIOLOGICAL FILTER MEDIA
• Next, set the biological fi lter media on top of the fi lter mat.
