    7352 Series Digital Multimeter Operation Manual 4.2 Basic Operation Basic Operation When power is supplied (the power switch is turned on), this instrument automatically executes a self-test and then measurement can be performed. For more information on the details of the self-test, refer to Chapter 8, “MAINTENANCE.” When the self-test is complete without any abnormality, this instrument enters into the measurement state.

If Auto-zero is set to ON, the internal offset is measured and the offset error is eliminated because the offset is subtracted from the input measurement value.
