7451A/7461A/7461P Digital Multimeter Operation Manual 5.8.5 Level Trigger and Delta Trigger 5.8.5.2 Delta Trigger An event is detected when the difference between delta 1 and delta 2 exceeds the set DELTA (threshold value). Example: SLOPE:POSI, PATRN:CONV The trigger is detected when 1 is larger than DELTA and 2 is smaller than DELTA.
If the setting exceeds the maximum display, the trigger cannot be detected. Example: When DELTA is set to 200000 in DCV-Bch of the 7451A. The trigger is detected when the polarity of change and direction of change judgment conditions are satis- fied (refer to Table 5-8).
Although the data before the trigger event is stored in the measurement data memory by setting the pre- trigger, the total data amount cannot exceed the capacity of the data memory. The 7451A/61A stores up to 10000 data and the 7461P stores up to 20000 data.
