INSTALL BATTERIES

Use alkaline batteries for
longer battery life.
If the gate or remote do not seem to work or work erratically:
Check to be sure the gate has power by activating the
manual latch.
Remove and reinstall the batteries.
Check to see if the light on the remote turns on when
you press the button. If it does not, it's time to replace
the batteries!
If the remote does not seem to work after replacing the
batteries, it may need to be paired with the gate.
Remove batteries from both the gate and remote.
While holding the remote button in, slide the button down
to the bottom and install the batteries.
Open the gate.
While the gate is open, install the gate batteries.
If pairing is successful, a sound will play and the lights will
turn off.
Loosen the screws in the battery
compartment doors.
Insert two AA (LR6) alkaline
batteries into the remote and
three AA (LR6) alkaline batteries
into the gate.
Replace the battery compartment
doors and tighten the screws.
