Please note the included General Safety Notes and the following
safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
Make sure the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating
label.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised for their safety by a qualified person
or are briefed by the responsible person how to use the unit.
Do not immerse the unit in liquids.
Make sure the sanding pad is correctly in place before switching on the
machine.
Avoid moving parts while working. There is danger of injury!
Never sand materials containing asbestos. Wear personal protection and
protective goggles.
Please note that poisonous dust may be emitted while removing paint. Use
suitable inhalation protection and ensure adequate ventilation.
If you fit a vacuum cleaner on the dust extractor connection, make sure the
parts are connected and used correctly. Using such equipment reduces
hazards from dust.
Should the unit become damaged do not use it and have it repaired by a
professional or contact our customer support department. Do not disassemble
the unit or try repairing it yourself.
