3. Safety features

With Silk'n safety comes first
Home Pulsed Light™ (HPL) technology provides superior safety
with lower energy levels. HPL achieves long-term hair removal
reduction results at a fraction of the energy level used in other
light-based hair removal equipment. The low energy reduces
the risk of harm or complications, and contributes to your overall
safety.

3.1 Skin protection

Light-based hair removal is not suitable for tanned skin.
The device comes with a built-in skin colour sensor (#5) that is
designed to measure the complexion of the applied surface and
enables energy levels according to skin complexion.
Furthermore, the treatment surface (#6), through which pulses
of light are delivered, is recessed inside the device. This enables
The device to protect your skin by avoiding direct contact
between the treatment surface (#6) and the skin.
