Please note the included General Safety Notes and the following
safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
Always keep all labels on the snow thrower clean and readable.
Read and understand the instruction manual before using the device.
Only use the device for domestic purposes and in the way indicated
in this manual. The device is not designed for continuous, professional use.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the device, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person. Keep the device out of reach of children.
Please observe the corresponding national regulations if you intend to use the
device on streets, paths, property etc.
Ensure a safety distance to other persons or animals while working. Pay
attention not to direct the device or to throw snow towards other persons,
animals or other properties.
Caution: Danger of drawing in! Never place your hands or feet towards or
under the rotating parts. Never grasp into the rotating auger. Keep your
clothes away from the rotating auger. Do not wear any loose clothing (e. g.
scarf).
Keep your feet and hands out of the danger zone of the electric snow thrower.
Wear boots or solid shoes when operating the device.
Wear safety goggles and hearing protection when
operating the snow thrower.
Always be aware of the position of the power cable. Do not trip over the cable
and make sure the power cable cannot be cut by the snow thrower. Always
keep the power cable out of the work area of the snow thrower. There is a risk
of electric shock.
Hold the device firmly with both hands during operation.
If the rotating auger is blocked by an obstacle, immediately release the
ON/OFF trigger, disconnect the power cord and free the rotating auger.
Only use the electric snow thrower in daylight or good artificial light. Never
use it when the visibility is bad.
Do not use the device close to garden ponds, swimming pools or other bodies
of water.
Only use the snow thrower outdoors.
