We recommend to secure the device after installation on both sides
by end brackets or clips against slipping from the DIN rail.
Please note that end brackets or clips are not included in the delivery!

2.9.3 Connection

WARNING!
The successful and safe operation of this device is dependent on
proper handling, storage, installation, operation, and maintenance.
Of particular importance are the general installation and safety
regulations for work in a high-voltage environment (for example,
ANSI, IEC, EN, DIN, or other national and international regulations).
These regulations must be observed. Non-observance can result in
death, personal injury, or severe property damage.

WARNING!
Before starting any work at all, the device must be disconnected from
the power supply and earthed.
Before commissioning the device for the first time, it must have
been in the final operating area for at least 2 hours. This time
allows the device to attain temperature equilibrium, and
dampness and condensation to be avoided.
The device is delivered ready for installation, i.e. with the terminal
screws loosened.
The terminal screws are Phillips screws that can be turned with a
2 x 0.5 screwdriver.
Connections
Direct cable connections: solid or stranded conductor with
connector sleeve; conductor with cross-section up to 3.3 mm
AWG 12. Use copper conductors only!
Strip the connecting wires to a length of 8 mm, insert them into
the screw terminals, and secure them such that they will not slip
out while tightening the screw. After tightening the screws
(maximum tightening torque 1 Nm), verify that the wires to the
terminals are tightly connected.
