CHAT 150 INTEROPERABILITY GUIDE
ClearOne Communications has tested the Chat 150 (version 3.0) with numerous communication devices to ensure
interoperability and provide optimal audio quality. The following table describes the interface cables required to
connect the Chat 150 to a specific device, and provides configuration recommendations to get the most out of your
Chat 150. If you have any further questions, please contact ClearOne Technical Support.

Chat 150 Interoperability Guide
Select Chat 150 as the default audio device in
the PVX software.
Disable Echo Cancellation in the PVX software
for optimum performance.
Set Echo cancellation to off and microphone to
internal on the Audio Settings page of the
PCS-TL50 software.
Open the Configuration menu in Avaya
Softphone and select Audio Settings.
Select Headset or Handset for the sound
device.
Connect Chat 150 to the PC and run Windows
Audio Tuning Wizard for optimal performance.

Open the Audio Settings page in Cisco IP
Communicator.
Select Chat 150 as the headset device for the
softphone.
Run Windows Audio Tuning Wizard for
optimal performance.
Note: Using the Chat 150 as a speakerphone
with Cisco IP Communicator will result in echo.
