13.6 Outdoor Fan Motor
Restart system, give
system a call for
heating/cooling
Does ODU motor
run properly?
No
Power off the unit at
breaker, wait 3 minutes
Unplug the wiring harness
for the outdoor blower motor
from the control board at CN3.
Measure the resistance
between the pins on the wiring
harness (refer to Table 1)
Do the
resistance values meet the
requirement from
Table 1?
Yes
Re-connect motor wiring
harness at CN3, power on unit
and give call for heating/cooling
Yes
Measure
DC voltage between
P&N pins (Red & Black wire),
is the voltage 370-
385V(DC)?
Yes
Measure
DC voltage between
+15V&N pins (White & Black
wire), is the voltage 14-
18V(DC)?
Yes
Measure
DC voltage between
VSP&N pins (Yellow & Black
wire), is the voltage 1.9-
5.1V(DC)?
Yes
