This instruction manual belongs to the Austlift Davit System according to AS/NZS 5532:2013 and must be available at the place of installation. If this device is sold, the instruction and assembly manual must be included in the local language. The instrucons for use and installaon must strictly be read in full and understood before using the apparatus.

The AUSTLIFT RETRACTABLE FALL ARRESTER rated capacity 136 kg / 1 person is mounted on the anchorage eye with help of a Karabiner. AUSTLIFT Winch is mounted on the cantilever or Davit Mast with the help of two bolts M10 x 100mm washer and nylon nut as well as a specialised bracket.

The Austlift Davit System shall not be used outside its limitation, or for any purpose other than that for which it is intended. • The user should carry out a pre-use check of the Austlift Davit System, to ensure that it is in a serviceable condition and operates correctly before it is used. •...
REPAIR Never a� empt to repair the Davit System. If the product becomes damaged, it will not provide optimum level of protection, and therefore should be immediately either replaced or repaired. Never use a damaged product. Also, never use it if the rope shows signs of cuts or damage.
