  • Page 3 PIXI APP Download the free Catit PIXI app from the App Store or on Google Play.
  • Page 4 INTRODUCTION As you open the app, you are greeted by our office cat Pixi. You will see some introduction pages, which you can swipe through. Images and wordings might differ slightly from the ones used here.
  • Page 5 ACCOUNT Select Sign up to create an account or Log in to your existing one.
  • Page 6 SIGN UP When creating an account, don’t forget to accept the Terms of Service.
  • Page 7 ADDING A DEVICE To add your PIXI Smart device, press +.
  • Page 8 ADDING A DEVICE Tap the device you want to add. Next, follow the instructions in the app.
  • Page 9 RESET DEVICE If the white LED on front of the feeder is not blinking, follow the reset instructions. To reset, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds. When the LED light starts blinking quickly, the reset process is completed. Now, press ‘Reset successful!’...
  • Page 10 LOCAL NETWORK Grant the app permission to access the local network. To do so, go to ‘settings’ and make sure the ‘local network’ slider is switched on.
  • Page 11 AP MODE If the connection with Smartlink mode is unsuccessful, you can connect the feeder using AP mode. Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds, to ensure the LED light on the feeder is blinking slowly (AP mode).
  • Page 12 AP MODE Go to the Wi-Fi settings in your phone, and connect with the Smartxxxx Wi-Fi. If the connection is succesful, please return to the app.
  • Page 13 CONNECTING Please wait for the app to connect to the feeder. (This can take up to up to 3 minutes).
  • Page 14 NAME YOUR DEVICE You can choose to name your device.
  • Page 15 GETTING STARTED Select the feeder to get started.
  • Page 16 ADD FEEDING PLAN Tap ‘change feeding plan’. Here, you can add individual meals. To do so, press ‘add meal’.
  • Page 17 PORTIONS Determine of how many portions you want this specific meal to consist. Next, set a time and save. You can schedule up to 12 meals per day, and each meal’s size can be determined separately.

  • Page 20 MEAL SERVED The app indicates which meals have been served.
  • Page 21 ADJUSTING MEALS Scheduled meals can be adjusted or rescheduled at any time. To do so, press ‘change feeding plan’ and select the meal you would like to adjust. Enter the new values and save.
  • Page 22 DELETING A MEAL Swiping to the left enables you to delete a meal.
  • Page 23 MANUAL Tapping ‘Dispense food’ will instantly dispense one portion of food. (This amount can be changed in Settings.) You can also manually dispense food by pressing the cat nose button on your feeder.
  • Page 24 MANUAL To increase the default meal size dispensed by pressing the cat nose button on the feeder as well as the ‘dispense food’ button in the app, go to ‘settings’ and set the preferred meal size.
  • Page 25 MANUAL FEEDING When you next dispense food using the app or cat nose button on the feeder, the newly set meal size will be served.
  • Page 26 SETTINGS The audio is disabled by default. When enabled, the feeder will play a sound each time a meal is served to notify your cat. The manual feed button (cat nose) on the feeder can be disabled too.
  • Page 27 SHARING A DEVICE To share your device with friends or family, go to ‘Devices’ and select ‘Share’.
  • Page 28 Ensure that whomever you are sharing the device with has already created an account on the PIXI app. Put in the email address that your friend’s account is linked to and press ‘Share’. Your PIXI Smart device will now appear in your friend’s app.
  • Page 29 SHARING A DEVICE To stop sharing, swipe to the left and confirm.
  • Page 30 RENAMING YOUR DEVICE Pressing ‘Rename’ at the top will allow you to put in a new name for your device.
  • Page 31 DELETING A DEVICE To delete a device, go to the app’s home menu, swipe left and confirm. You can also go to ‘settings’ and tap the red option at the bottom. Next, press ‘OK’.
  • Page 32 NOTIFICATIONS With notifications enabled, the Catit PIXI Smart Feeder will send you several types of push notifications. For an overview of all recent notifications, select ‘Messages’ in the app. All notifications can be disabled in your phone’s settings.
  • Page 33 NOTIFICATIONS When the food level in the reservoir is below 10%, the feeder will notify you that the scheduled meal may not have been served. In this case, you should always check to make sure the meal has been served correctly. Also, don’t forget to top up the reservoir.
  • Page 34 ONE FREE APP The PIXI Smart Fountain and Feeder use the same app. You can pair multiple devices with the app.
