Factory Adjustment for Expression and Tremulants
It is necessary to remove the back, top and shielding to access the VO board(5222-30X), the
Pre-amp board(5218-30X) or the DVM board(5215-30X).
I. With the organ turned off, short the two jumper pins ofW8 on the Pre-amp board(5218-
301). If the Pre-amp board is a 5218300, it is necessary to install a surface mount test clip
on U510 of the DVM board(5215-30X). Use a clip lead jumper to short pins 4 & 8.
2. Turn on the organ.
3. With the expression pedal(s) at maximum, rotate R33 on the VO board to the point that the
Stop Tabs OCTAVE and SPITZFLOTE just light.
4. Set the four tremulant's pots until the listed Tabs light:
R29 - PRINCIPAL (Tremulant rate)
R30 - ROHRFLOTE (Tremulant depth)
R31 - FLAUTO DOLCE (Swell Flute Tremulant rate)
R32 - FLUTE CELESTE (Swell Flute Tremulant depth)
5. Remove the jumper shorting W8 pins (or surface mount test clip from DVM, U510).
Note: SUPER OCTAVE will light when the Tuner knob line is positioned at "12:00".
QUINTFLOTE will light when Reverb knob is turned near maximum.
Model 445E has a different Stop Tab arrangement. The following Tabs indicate correct factory
settings:
FLUTE CELESTE & OCTAVE will just light when adjusting
the Expression pot, R33.
Tremulants:
R29 - LIEBLICH BOURDON
R30 - PRINCIPAL
R31 - ROHRFLOTE
R32 - FLAUTO DOLCE
(SPITZFLOTE will indicate Tuner and SUPER OCTAVE will
indicate Reverb.)
