Troubleshooting
Problem
Gun does not spray
Dirty air cap
Air leaks from manifold
Fluid doesn't shut off properly
Excessive paint wrap back to opera-
tor

Cause
Low fluid supply.
Damaged spray tip.
Dirty or clogged spray tip (3).
Damaged fluid needle (2).
Piston (11) not actuating.
Actuator arm (15) is out of position.
Damaged or plugged air cap
Manifold is not tight
Worn or missing o-rings
Fluid buildup on fluid needle (2)
Piston sticking
Poor grounding
Incorrect distance from gun to part
Solution
Add fluid if necessary.
Replace; see Air Cap/Tip Guard,
Spray Tip, and Fluid Seat Housing

Clean; see Clean the Spray Gun,

Check cylinder air. Check piston
