BATTERY INSTALLATION

HANDSET BATTERY
INSTALLATION
THIS UNIT IS SHIPPED WITH THE HANDSET
BATTERY PACK INSTALLED.
If it becomes necessary to replace the battery
pack:
1
Press down on the battery compartment
cover and slide it toward the bottom of
the handset.

Install the new battery pack with the red
wire on the right side of the black wire
(see drawing.)

Replace the battery cover by sliding it up
from the bottom.
4
Place the handset in the charger cradle
and charge the battery pack for 12-15
hours.
NOTE: All stored Caller ID information and stored Redial
numbers will be lost upon removal of the handset battery.
You may want to store Caller ID call information into Autodial
memory. (See page 22)
WARNING: Use only NiCad
