Attachment of Pulley Rod
WARNING:
Pulley Rod may be used for traction of up to 40 lbs. Exceeding 40 lbs. of traction load may result in device failure and serious
patient injury.
1.
Insert threaded portion of the Pulley Rod Knob into the threaded hole of the Pulley Rod such that the starburst teeth of the Pulley Rod
are facing the small starburst teeth of the Stationary Horseshoe Faceplate (Figure 12).
2. Turn the Pulley Rod Knob clockwise several turns.
3. Position the Pulley Rod in desired orientation.
4. Turn the Pulley Rod Knob clockwise until fully tightened (Figure 13).
WARNING:
Ensure the mating starburst teeth of the Pulley Rod and the Stationary Horseshoe Faceplate are the same size and have properly
engaged (meshed) when fully tightened. Failure to do so may damage teeth, compromise stability and support of traction load,
and result in serious patient injury.
