pOWER SuppLY

A/ TRANSMITTER
1. Operation with batteries (not supplied)
Press the release button and slide the battery compartment cover
in the direction indicated. Insert 3 alkaline AAA type batteries in the
compartment. Respect the polarity (+/-) indications. Reclose the cover.
N.B. For better performances do not mix new and used batteries or
rechargeable and alkaline batteries.
2. Operation from the mains
The transmitter can be powered via a power point by using 5 V adapter
supplied. Connect the adapter's output terminal to the Micro USB socket
of the transmitter 7. Connect the adapter to the mains socket. The power
supply from the batteries will then be cut so long as the transmitter is
connected to the mains.
NB. The range is longer when the transmitter functions off the mains.

OpERATION

A/ TRANSMITTER
1.Setting of digital code (a,b), Out-of-range alert function (c) and Night
Light function (d).
a. Set the power ON/OFF switch button 1 to ON position to turn on
the unit. The LCD screen shows up. Press and hold ▲ 2 button for at
least 5 seconds to enter into programming mode.

choose from). Each press of the button will cause the code to advance
one step. Press and hold the ▼ 3 button will cause the code to scroll
up rapidly. Confirm your selection by pressing the button ▲ 2 . The

B/ RECEIVER
1. Operation with the battery supplied
The Lithium-Polymer battery is already installed in the receiver. To
change the battery press the release button and slide the cover of
the compartment in the direction indicated, take out the battery and
disconnect the cable.
2. Charging the battery with the mains adapter
Connect the 5 V adapter's output plug to the receiver's Micro USB socket
16. The battery recharges even if the receiver is off. When the receiver
is on, the bars of the charge status indicator on the LCD screen flash
successively. When the battery is fully charged all the bars are visible
and stop flashing. It is not necessary to disconnect the adapter from the
receiver: it does not damage the battery. When the battery is uncharged
and the voltage falls below a certain level, the adapter then recommences
to recharge automatically.
NB. Before using for the 1st time charge the Lithium-Polymer battery
for at least 4 hours. It is recommended to switch the appliance off for the
first charging.
NB. For a longer lifespan, wait until the battery is completely discharged
before recharging it.

c. WARNING: When setting the out-of-range alert function, the parent
unit must be switched on and placed in close proximity say less than
5m apart, otherwise false alert will be heard in case is selected.
Use ▼ 3 button to select the Out-of-range alert function. On means
this function is enabled while OFF means this function is disabled.
When set to OFF, the level of emitted radiation is reduced, however,
the parent unit will not provide an alarm when it falls outside the
communication range of baby unit. Confirm your selection by pressing
the ▲ 2 button. The LCD will show following:
