10. Adjustment

10-16-6. Adjusting the needle location

Adjustment is required whenever the button carrier is replaced.
Make sure the needle is not bent.
Horizontal feed position
Needle
1. Set the X scale so that the holes A and B in the button are aligned with the point of the needle. (Refer to "Setting
the X-scale and Y-scale" on page 45.)
2. Check the positions of the button holes. (Refer to "Checking the sewing pattern" on page 26.)
Vertical feed position
1. Set the Y scale so that the holes A and C in the button are aligned with the point of the needle. (Refer to "Setting
the X-scale and Y-scale" on page 45.)
2. Check the positions of the button holes. (Refer to "Checking the sewing pattern" on page 26.)
