17.Darning stitch position adjustment

When stretch stitch sewing, the lengths of the forward and reverse
stitches should be the same.
Check
1. Go to service program by pressing the stitch number 2 and
Mirror button, turn on the power switch. "P1" will appear and
service program "Feed adjust " will start.
2. Test the darning stitch Use a satin stitch foot B.
(Machine will repeat sewing forward and backward and stop automatically.)
Satin stitch foot B :
When sewing decorative stitches or short zig-zag stitches and other utility stitches with less than 1.0 mm
stitch length, use this foot. The groove on the underside of the foot is designed to fl ow smoothly over the
stitches.
3. The lines (a) and (b) should be same position.
Adjustment
Before any adjustment is done plaese checking "Height of the Feed-dog".
1. Sew one complete darning stitch.
2. Tilt the machine backward.
3. Turn screw (C) until the machine sews a stitch according to the illustration.
• If the reverse stitch is fi ner than the forward stitch, turn the screw to the right.
• If the reverse stitch is coarser than the forward stitch, turn the screw to the left.
