Sensitivity Adjustment

6.1. Automatic sensitivity adjustment
The sensitivity of the balance is automatically adjusted using the internal mass according to ambient
temperature change, set time, or interval time. For details, refer to the separate instruction manual listed
in "1.1. Detailed manual".
6.2. Sensitivity adjustment using the internal mass
Sensitivity adjustment using the internal mass can be performed with a single touch.
Step 1. With nothing on the weighing pan, plug in the balance with the AC adapter in order to warm up
the balance for at least 1 hour (or 4 hours for BA-6E / BA-6DE).
Step 2. Press the CAL key to display
Step 3. The balance performs sensitivity adjustment using the internal mass. Do not allow vibration or
drafts to affect the balance.
Step 4. After sensitivity adjustment, the "sensitivity adjustment record" is output and stored as set in the
function table.
For details, refer to the separate instruction manual listed in "1.1. Detailed manual".
Step 5. When finished, the balance automatically returns to weighing mode.
6.3. Sensitivity adjustment using an external weight
Using your external weight, adjust the sensitivity of the balance.
