5. COMISSIONING AND FUNCTIONS
• Connect the power cable to the mains. The speed of the curtain can be controlled using the front panel lo-
cated on the curtain, or with the remote control (Fig.4).
NOTE: The remote control requires two 1.5V AAA batteries (Batteries not supplied).
• On the control panel, a red LED (Fig.4-b) lights up to indicate that the curtain is in operation.
• The infra-red remote control works at a maximum distance of 5 meters and must be facing the curtain con-
trol panel, where the receiver is located (Fig.4-a).
• Depending on the distance between the curtain and the wall and the height of the installation, it is possible
to adjust the deflector angle of the air output (Fig.5), thus altering the direction of the air flow.

6. DOOR SENSOR

The air curtain incorporates as standard a magnetic sensor (not connected), to control the operation (ON / OFF)
of the air curtain. To be able to connect the sensor, access the back of the air curtain intake grill, where a cable
with a connector comes out of the control box (FIG.6).
The position of the magnets will determine whether the air curtain operates when the door is open or closed.
THE AIR CURTAIN WILL WORK WHEN THE MAGNETS (Fig 6 A-B) ARE SEPARATED. For correct operation,
ensure that the maximum separation between magnets, when they are together, is less than 10mm.
NOTE: To fix the mobile magnet (Fig. 6 B) on a glass door, a double-sided adhesive patch is supplied. Before
fixing the adhesive patch, make sure that the surface is clean and completely dry.

7. MAINTENANCE

WARNING: Do not carry out cleaning operations while the curtain is in operation.
These curtains do not require any special maintenance; however we do recommend the following:
• Keep the openings of the intake and outlet grills dust free. Clean them periodically with a dry cloth or with a
vacuum cleaner.
• Clean the outside of the curtain with a damp cloth (do not use abrasive detergents).
• The inside should be cleaned annually. In the interest of safety, this should be carried out by a technical
specialist or qualified personnel.
