The Four-Position LBOR Sectionalizing Switch (Fig. 16 A & B) is provided optionally in loop-feed padmount
transformerstoselectthefeedsource,openorclosethefeed-thruloopandopenorclosethetransformer.

The spring-loaded activating mechanism ensures quick load break action and positive contact engagement
through all positions. Switching can be accomplished in less than one cycle, and should be performed with a
hotstick
