Paint Jet Adjustment

For a high jet (vertically), align the nozzle (4)
horizontally. Use this setting for spraying
larger areas.
For a wide jet (horizontally), align the nozzle
(4) vertically.

Using

1. Before starting to work, check the trigger (5) to make sure it moves
freely.
2. The paint flow regulator (8) is completely shut by factory default. Turn
the paint flow regulator counter clockwise to open it. Turn the fan regu-
lator (6) counter clockwise until the first thread pitch is visible.
3. Open the air flow regulator (10) by turning
counter clockwise.
4. Connect the spray gun to the compressed air
supply. The air should be regulated and filtered.
5. Setup the air pressure according to the
parameters supplied with the paint to be pro-
cessed.
6. Perform test runs on some test pieces. This
way you can determine the optimum amount of
paint and the different paint jet adjustments.
Notes
Note the parameters given by the manufacturer
of the coating materials to be used. Pour the
material to be processed in the paint cup (2)
and carefully close the cup with the lid.
Pay attention that the hole in the lid is free at all times.
Pay attention to the air hose when painting.
Hold the hose firmly with one hand while operating the spray gun with
the other hand. The hose must not be bent. Do not step on it, as this
will lead to formation of droplets.
The movement speed of the spray gun depends on the setting of the
paint flow regulator (8). With little paint, move the spray gun slowly.
