3. Installation Befor using the pump When receiving pump,check the following: If any defects,contact agent. Before unpacking,make sure that the pump is the right side up. Especially if packing is wooden crate,beware of nails, or you could hurt yourself. (1)Are all descriptions on name plate as ordered? (2)Has any damage occurred during transportation?...
N O T E As well as being used for adjusting the levelness of the pump,the metal wedges will receive the pump's weight and operating load. Use only a few wedges,that are as thick as possible. Insert the wedges close to the anchor bolts,and locate them so that they provide even weight....

(6) Place level gauge on the surface of the flange,and check that the flange is perfectly horizontal. If it is not,use the metal wedges to adjust it. (7) Confirmation of shaft alignment. Cautions for piping work (1) Make the suction piping as short as possible,with as less bends as possible. (2) Provide pipe supports for the piping,so that the weight of the piping is not imposed on the pump. The weight of the piping must not be imposed on the pump.If it is,the alignment will become offset,resulting indamage to the equipment,vibration or noise....
Make sure to tighten the electric power terminals securely. Loose terminals may cause an open phase fault, which causes burning of the motor. (1) Provide an electrical leakage breaker and overload protection device for the pump's main power supply cable.
(1) Check that the wiring has been connected correctly. (2) Check that terminal connections have been secured. (3) Check that grounding has been carried out properly. (4) Check that the setting of the overload protection device is the motor's rated current. 4.1.2 Pump system checks Do not put a protecting cover or a filter on the motor, or it may increase the temperature inside the motor and lead to unforeseen machine trouble.
