METHOD 2
For a TRADITIONAL CAMPFIRE effect, please use hardwood
firewood and follow these steps.
1
Carefully centre and lower the Ash Pan (B) in to the top of
the Burner Bowl (A) until it lays in place.
2
Carefully centre and lower the Steel Ring (F) in to the top of
the Ash Pan (B) until it lays in place.
3
Place tinder, and kindling and smaller wood chunks in the
centre of the Ash Pan (B).
4
Using a torch, carefully light the fire as you would any
campfire. For faster lighting results use a non-toxic fire
starter, like wax infused tinder.
5
To extend the duration of the fire, wearing heat resistant
gloves, place hardwood firewood into the ash pan on top of
the already burning wood.
6
To prevent embers from escaping the ash pan, wearing
heat resistant gloves, use Poker/Lifter (G) to lift the
Ember Screen (C) and place on the Steel Ring (F) as shown.
To cook in TRADITIONAL FIRE method while using
hardwood firewood, wait for the flames to die down and
the coals to be below the Steel Ring (F). Wearing heat
resistant gloves, use the Poker/Lifter (G) to insert the
Grill Grate (D) or Grill Griddle (E) into the Steel Ring (F).
D
To cook in TRADITIONAL FIRE method while using charcoal
fuel, fill the Ash Pan (B) with 1 – 3 lb (0.45 – 1.36 kg) of
G
charcoal. Ignite the charcoal following the instructions
from the charcoal packaging and wait for the desired
cooking temperature to be reached. Wearing heat
resistant gloves, use the Poker/Lifter (G) to insert the Grill
Grate (D) or Grill Griddle (E) into the Steel Ring (F).
G
CAUTION: ONLY USE HARDWOOD FUEL TO COOK WITH.
