1.INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE - PREPARING THE KAYAK
• Lay the kayak flat on a clean surface, with no objects which could damage the inflatable structure.
1.1 Inflating the bottom
• Locate the high-pressure valve required to inflate the bottom
Make sure the valves are in the closed position.
Open position (*1): the spring is depressed, the valve is open, the air escapes, the kayak deflates.
Closed position (*2): the spring is released, the valve is closed, connect the end of the pump to inflate.
• Insert the bottom inside the kayak and strap it to the ends.
The bottom valve must be aligned with the side tube valves located at the rear of the kayak. The positioning of the bottom must allow free access to the drain plugs
located in the middle of the kayak.
• Connect the ITIWIT pump (sold separately) using the pump tip ¼ turn (*3) and inflate the bottom to 5 PSI. Finish by screwing the cap.
1.2 Inflating the side tubes
• Locate the high-pressure valve required to inflate the side tubes.
Make sure the valves are in the closed position.
Open position (*1): the spring is depressed, the valve is open, the air escapes, the kayak deflates.
Closed position (*2): the spring is released, the valve is closed, connect the end of the pump to inflate.
• Connect the ITIWIT pump (sold separately) using the pump tip ¼ turn (*3) and inflate the bottom to 3 PSI. Finish by screwing the cap.
INSTRUCTIONS
Each side tube is equipped with a pressure relief valve (*4). Its role is to evacuate excess air related to over-inflation. During this action, a whistling sound may be
heard. This whistling is normal; it can occur during inflation or prolonged exposure to the sun. It will stop when the pressure inside the kayak is optimal.
