You can change the unit's settings.

Adjusting the Timing

This adjustment should not normally be necessary.
If there is a timing offset between the control signals of this
unit and the operation of the Video Walkman, an offset in the
cut IN point or OUT point may occur. This may lead to timing
offsets of the cut, or defective images.
Adjusting the timing allows you to advance or retard the video
timing, to eliminate the offset.
The following tables show the initial settings and reference
values when different devices are connected. The more
negative a value, the earlier is the recording timing. The values
in the table are only for reference: for more precise editing,
make an adjustment according to the device you are using.
