To troubleshoot lighting issues with the Rail King Ready-To-Run Amtrak F59PH:

1. Turn the car over and remove the two screws holding the roof.
2. Turn it back over and gently lift the roof from the body.
3. Carefully lower the chassis from the shell, avoiding wire damage.
4. Remove four screws under the caboose’s trucks.
5. Loosen and pivot the end frames outward about 5 degrees.
6. Remove the step platforms from both ends.
7. Push the socket up at an angle and pull the bulb from its holder.
8. Replace with a new bulb (Part #CG-0000017).
9. Reverse the steps to reassemble the caboose.

Ensure the transformer is unplugged during the process.
