1. Set DIP switches (Pos.û) 1 and 4 to Position A and DIP switches 2, 3 and 5 to Position B.
2. Turn the MIN potentiometer (Pos. ô) clockwise to the end position.
LED Y1 (Pos. á) should light up and the actuator should open the three-way valve.
3. Turn the MIN potentiometer (Pos. ô) counter clockwise to the end position.
LED Y2 (Pos. é) should light up and the actuator should close the three-way valve.

Set the desired control mode via the Dip switches (Pos.û) to the correct position (see SS-953).
For constant room temperature control with minimum limit, set the cascade factor CF (Pos.ê) and the MIN pot (Pos.ô)
to the desired minimum supply air temperature.
For supply air temperature and constant room temperature control, CF (Pos.ê) should be set to 1 to ensure stable
regulation.

Temperature control

The WHSH control system controls the flow temperature to the warm water heater battery with the help of a three
point-valve-actuator. It is controlled by a pulse/break signal in proportion to the control deviation. If the temperature
being controlled approaches the preset setpoint, then the run time of the actuator will reduce and the break time will
increase accordingly.
Three control functions are possible for the temperature control:
1. Constant supply air temperature control with a duct temperature sensor (TFK)
2. Constant room temperature control with an external room temperature sensor (TFR)
3. Constant room temperature control with a minimum supply air temperature limit.
With external room temperature sensor (TFR) and additional duct temperature sensor (TFK).
All three control circuits have an anti-freeze temperature sensor (TFK) behind the WHR
(see wiring diagram SS-953 on page 17 and system diagram on page 2, Fig.1).
