months). The battery is not user-serviceable.
PROGRAMMING MENU
• Short press the MENU button to access the menu system.
• Use the up/down buttons to navigate/scroll.
• Press MENU to select and confirm settings.
• Press RETURN to back up.
• Pull the trigger to exit.
• Main Menu: Gallery (captured images), Image Adjustments
(see below), and Settings (see below).
• Image Adjustments Menu: Image Modes (thermal MSX® or
visible spectrum camera), Colors (display palettes), and Tem-
perature Scale (high/low sensitivity).
• Settings Menu: Measurement (Center Spot, Emissivity), Device
Settings (Screen brightness, Flashlight intensity, APO), and
General Settings (Temperature unit, Time/Date, Language, Sys-
tem Info, General System Info).
WORKING WITH IMAGES
Use the trigger to capture images. Go to Gallery in the menu sys-
tem. Use the arrows to scroll and MENU button to open images.
Press MENU at an opened image to see image options. To transfer
images, connect to a PC (USB) and use the K1 as you would any
external storage drive.
Note: Device is not 100% compatible with Mac OS, please do not
format K1 internal memory via Mac OS.
WARRANTY EXTENSION
See Figure 3, Product Registration QR Code, page 1.
Please register within 60 days of purchase to activate the 2–10 Year
Warranty extension (https://support.flir.com/prodreg), otherwise the
standard one-year warranty will be in effect from date of purchase.
The warranty extension covers parts and labor for the camera (2
years) and the detector (10 years).
FIELD FIRMWARE UPGRADES
Refer to the on-line user manual for complete instructions on up-
grading the K1 firmware in the field.
