Adjustment Procedures
™ Loosen screw 1 and adjust so that the clearance between
the outside periphery of the roller of the knot-tying arm and
that of the stitch adjusting cam should be 1 to 1.5 mm at the
time of stop-motion.
Results of Improper Adjustment
™ If the clearance is too large, the
stroke of the thread bind plate will
become short.
™ If the clearance is too small, the
roller may come in contact with the
outside periphery of the cam, or the
thread bind plate may come in
contact with the throat plate.
